Blast Cleaning
We have several fully enclosed environmental friendly blast rooms using Chilled Iron Aluminium Oxide, Glass Bead (any grade). Other types of media on request).
Grit / Iron media can be used to remove oxides, corrosion, mill scale and paint preparation for repair or new coatings.
Glass Beads are used for stainless steel, alloy and small components that are not suitable for the harshness of Grit or Iron media blasting. Both processes are perfect for blasting areas that are not easily accessible by hand sanders, needle guns or wire brushes.
Powder coating
Powder coating is a dry powder process that is sprayed onto the metal using an electrostatic gun. The coating is then stoved in an oven at 180°C – 200°C to cure. This produces a superior erosion /corrosion protection and ductile / durable finish to that obtained by any wet coating process.
Powder finishes come in a vast range of colours and finishes including Gloss, Semi-Gloss, Matt, Texture, Antique and Metallic.
Powder can also be applied as a two-coat system of a zinc powder primer followed by a polyester powder finish coat, giving suitable finishes for industrial and offshore specifications.
Airless spray pumps
Used to paint a wide range of industrial and offshore components including valves, accumulators, skids and pumps.
These coatings can be applied as per the required documented process, whether it be blast and prime only or full specification e.g. Shell ES/011.
